De Marillac Centre was established to serve Children and young adults in vulnerable Situations. Our goal basically is to develop street-connected children into useful and productive adults who can contribute towards the economic, social and political development of the society.
COMPUTER TRAINING
After months of training, starting from computer appreciation, MS Packages to Adobe CorelDraw and Photoshop, just last weekend, these six Marillac Children completed their course in Web design. They were introduced to basic html and basic CSS coding languages. A big gratitude to Mr. Davis for sponsoring the training.
BAPTISM
During the Easter holiday, 7 Marillac children joined the Sacrament of Baptizing organized by the church and received their first Holy Communion. Four of them at Sacred heart parish mile 2 Diobu PH, the other three was at Lindalva inclusive school, Benin City.
INTERNATIONAL DAY 2025
The International Day for children in street situation is marked globally on the 12th of April every year. De Marillac Centre joined other relevant stakeholders to mark this special day for the children in our care. The theme for this year is tagged “Participation”. The children actively participated in the skill exhibition organized by the Centre and showcased different skills they have learnt from their individual trainings
